Born : 9th May 1936 , Paddington, London
Died : Still Alive
Weight : Middleweight
Record :35-9-0 (KO 28)
Titles : British Middleweight Champion, Commonwealth Middleweight Champion, World Middleweight Title

Terry Downes won the world title against American Paul Pender in the 2nd of his 3 fights against Pender. Pender then took the title back with the last fight. Terry Downes also beat an ageing Sugar Ray Robinson. His last fight was at Light Heavy against Willie Pastrano for the WBC and WBA Light Heavy titles, which he lost.

Downes then went on to act in around 30 movies
