Say what you want about his weight and his recent performances....but he is one of the most talented fighters I've ever seen (and my most favourite fighter).
He was on his way to KOing Rahman tonight and Rahman wanted out of the fight....that was not a bad cut....a fighter who thought he could win would have continued...shame on Rahman.

Wow just heard about this Toney weighed 226lbs as well apparently , on Bunce's boxing hour he said Rahman weighed in at 244lbs but should've weighed more but he came into the ring without his heart  Classic Rahman got a bad cut as well , was this fight televised :?:

I felt the fight should have been declared a no contest. I agree Toney has done some great things but this contest was not a TKO or a rightful stoppage.

Should have been a NC
It was an accidental headbutt which caused the cut

Ringside Dr. did the right thing to stop it cuz Rahman couldnt see.
Blood was dripping into his eye from the headbutt, not a punch.

TKO doesnt make sense to me.

Yeah the fight was televised on Fox Sports..Best Damn Sports show...while it was not a real TKO....I can still understand it. It was Rahman who convinced the doctor to stop it. The cut wasn't horrible...we've all seen worse...the doctor just came up to look at it and would have let it continue but Rahman started complaining...so of course the doctor would say stop after what Rahman said...so I agree with the decision...Rahman wanted out...so essentially he quit.

Just watched this and have to say the decision was wrong.

When the clash of heads happened the ref pointed out accidental clash of heads so if the doctor stops it a NC is the result

The missus was watching TV so I watched it no sound on, so that would mean Rahman refused to fight on then

Tony was a very talented fighter. I feel he wasted some of that talent via his easting habbits. It's a real shame

Agree with everyone about the wrong decision.
Rahman did complain but about a cut caused by an accidental headbutt.
