Bit of a off the cuff query:
I use XP on my laptop and am wondering if anyone can advise me as to what Anti-Spyware with real-time protection is good?
I have tried loads and am unsure as to what are the best one's?
Any advice is appreciated. (PS-I also use Norton).

The years I used XP Norton was sufficient by itself. I never had a problem that it didn't take of.

Norton is'nt meant to be very good, slows your PC down and misses half the stuff out there.

I use these programs to cover everything, they are all free and very effective.

Spybot Search & Destroy
AVG Anti-virus
Lavasoft Ad-Aware
SpywareBlaster
Comodo Firewall

Norton is horrendous on system resources, I use AVG Free Anti - Virus 8 and it comes with spyware checker as well

Yep, Im still using AVG 7.5, Ive got AVG V8 to install when I get a chance.
